Artist Statement
I’m xaviergray, an artist who blends street art, graphic design, and personal storytelling into bold, neon-drenched mixed media paintings. My work lives on canvas and wood, finished with hand-built frames that become part of the story. I play with contrasts—sharp lines collide with loose gestures, checkered patterns break through vibrant neon fields—to explore energy, change, and the way we see the world around us. Each piece is a visual charge, designed not just to catch the eye but to keep the feeling alive long after.
Bio
I’m xaviergray, an Indianapolis-based artist blending street art, graphic design, and personal narratives into bold, vibrant work. After a creative break, I returned with fresh eyes, exploring vibrant colors, dynamic patterns, and custom hand-built frames that extend each piece beyond the surface. The name xaviergray honors my children’s middle names—a constant reminder that my art is deeply rooted in family and personal meaning.
Recent highlights include 'Velocity' for the Indianapolis Motor Speedway’s “Welcome Race Fans,” custom-designed Tag Heuer watch boxes for the 2025 Indy 500 (signed by 2016 Indy winner Alexander Rossi), and interactive murals for the NCAA Horizon League. I strive to create artwork that’s direct, charged with energy, and authentically true to my vision.
